I don’t often read blogs written by young conservatives, because being an undergrad and being a conservative seems so depressingly borning, like you sit around all day checking your stocks and tut-tutting at the women still wearing white shoes after Labor Day.
But Tiny Pasture linked to this post over at Right-Wing Vitriol, which, though I disagree with it, does contain this brilliantly funny part:
Anyway, the point remains that the TN GOP hits the character issues again. After “Proud” and the sequel, “Things That Make Us Proud,” as well as the use of “Barack Hussein Obama,” the Tennessee GOP’s developed a rebel’s reputation, not kowtowing to any sort of campaigning political correctness, which definitely reflects the state of Tennessee. Actually, here’s what’s especially great about the TN GOP: Kwame Kilpatrick is the mayor of Detroit. In Michigan. And the TN GOP basically was like, geography? To hell with that, let’s throw together a video.
And oh my god, you know Hobbs has got to be loving the idea of someone, anyone, viewing him as some kind of smart-ass rebel and not an idiot.
But here’s what I wonder, just talking strategy, doesn’t Hobbs’s schtick rely on Democrats having power? I mean, what happens if and when his side wins?
