In Which I Fail to Find Eliza Allen Houston Douglass Again, Even though I Know She's in that Cemetery

This is the old Bellemont Mansion up in Gallatin. The name was later changed to Foxhall. It’s now being transformed into the clubhouse for Foxland Harbor. They let me take pictures of the outside. I hear construction workers belief it’s haunted.

Lining the drive in they had these weird outbuildings, whose purpose I couldn’t decide on.

And then, off I went to the cemetery to fail to find Eliza Allen, yet again. Here’s here mom, Letitia.

Here’s a Letitia Allen, who I believe is the daughter of J.A. Blackmore and Martha Allen, so Eliza’s niece and the first Letitia’s grand-daughter.

It’s hard to make out, but i think this could be another Letitia Allen, probably Eliza’s sister.

This is either Martha Allen (wife of J.A. Blackmore)’s grave or one of their kids.

Here’s what appears to be the whole old Allen plot (there are a shit ton of Allens in the cemetery, though. This is just the oldest plot.)
