Lucky

The way in which I’m most fortunate in my life here in Nashville is that I have friends that, when I’m like “I am in complete chaos and I don’t know what I’m doing,” are like “I will meet you at 1:30 and pull you through your own shit.”

  1. I think this is a Nashville thing. Maybe it’s because most people here aren’t from here that our friends become our family & when we see people we care about getting mired down by life, we give an extra push – because we’ve either been on the receiving end of a similar push, or recognize that the day is coming that we’ll need a push of our own.

  2. Yeah, I think that’s true. I definitely appreciate it and I hope I live up to what people have done for me when I’m in a position to return the favor, for sure.
