  1. What KC said, what Ginger said, and what Mack said. There are still some sweet real estate deals to be had a couple of blocks away from me.

  2. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Buying a house. Ha.

    Oh, you guys are serious.

    Yeah.

I kid you not–buying a house was one of the best things I ever did for my self-esteem and my social life.

Plus, I don’t know what you’re paying in rent, but odds are you can get a good house for the same monthly outlay. AND you get to deduct your mortgage interest off your taxes. So the first few years you’re there can be almost break-even.

Shoot, I’ve seen you perform on stage, you have no self-esteem issues. Seriously, yea, thats what I keep telling B…buy enough house, deduct the interest, hopefully, prices will hold, or go up slightly, and she will no longer be throwing money away, paying off someone else’s house.

Oh, and make The Butcher live in the basement. Just sayin.

Seriously, I thought you sat down with Kathy T. a while back and had her figure out what you could afford. And I thought that included stuff like downpayments and the like.

Yes. And make him wear lederhosen. And a tiny cap you’ll knit for him. And he must call you “ma’am” at all times.

    Ahem. Anyway.

By the way, muy excellente on the wheels. They are sleek and curvy and efficient and cute, just like their new mistress. Congrats!

  7. Oh!!! Our new cars, like, practically match, B! Maybe they can have little car babies someday. Congratulations!

Before too long people’ll be able to tell a NIT blogger gathering easy – just look for all the silver cars in the parking lot!
