My father used to have “Mighty Day on Campus,” by the Chad Mitchell Trio, on vinyl and we listened to it all the time growing up. I had to buy it a year or two ago when I found a rerelease on CD. “Rum By Gum” was one of my favorite songs on the album.
I sometimes think my dad is a folk singer or vaudeville performer in an alternate universe.
