Not so weird. The ‘grassers are completely split this year. And the Stanleys in particular have always been yellow-dog Democrats. But that endorsement is gonna turn some heads for sure.
I don’t think it’s weird either. Then again, my people are long-tim yellow dog democrats from southwestern VA and western NC so I’m used to it.
