I’m embarrassed to show you my tomatoes, but believe me folks, this is about 50% better than they were.
At least two in this picture should make it, I believe. They’re still kind of wussy about things at this point, but they will perk right up after the rain and after the sun dries out the water on their leaves. This is completely normal for tomatoes. Doesn’t it make you crazy?
If they stay pushed over like this you can always mound some dirt at the base of the plants and cover some of the stem. Then again, with some time in the yard, that stem should toughen right up.
Patience, B. At least your tomatoes are in the ground…ours are still in flats, waiting to get in the freshly-tilled (and now completely waterlogged) soil. Looking good.
