I Stink

Yesterday, the dog and I went to the park. Then we went to scout a location for a photo I’d like to be on the cover of the book. Then I forget what we did. Something. Then I went to Lowe’s and got stuff to finish my bookshelves. And then the Butcher set one of the cases on sawhorses and I spent some time putting the first layer of stain on them.

Then this morning, I got up to do the second layer.

And now, I smell so bad I about can’t even stand to sit here in my own stink.

But I have to tell you, there’s a certain pleasure in a hot shower when you’re sore and stinky.

Oops, lost the internet there for a while. Reading cards tonight. It’s been a while and I’m glad to get the chance to do it again.

And that shower was fantastic.

  1. Yup, it’s true! I have osteoarthritis in my hips, knees, ankles and feet, not to mention the spine and neck, so when I work in the flower beds or do any messy outside work, a shower feels great! The old husk and hair are clean and as my hair dries I get more tired. When I do get to bed then I usually fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow.
