That’s kind of a misleading marker. It starts out as if this were just a tribute cairn, but it ends with, “By the way, we moved him here.”
I know! The whole thing is a little confusing. Is this the site of the campground or the old Methodist church or a Methodist church camp? And then, yes, they spring the “And here he is! Right here!” thing way late in the game.
