More Strangeness

This is now the kind of book where my dead relatives show up to deal with people’s mean in-laws. It was almost the kind of book where dead Ulysses Grant shows up.

The revisions on this are going to be weird, that’s for sure.

  1. I almost stuck my great-grand uncle in there alive at the end of the Civil War, when he really was in Nashville. But it’s actually his sister’s dead husband who showed up to be the only spirit ever called up and put to a task in Nashville’s occult history.

This necessitated figuring out how fast a ghost can travel from the place he died during the Civil War to Nashville and I can safely say that a ghost travels at about five miles a year.

It’s so weird. It’s just become a weird, weird book.
