Things You Have to Read to Believe

1. More on the guy who writes alternative history for conservative Christians, and the conservative Christians who are appalled. This is exactly what I mean by bearing false witness. This guy isn’t just lying. He’s passing off those lies in order to keep people paying him.

2. This is… oh lord… I hope it’s not true.

Tennessee Democratic Party leaders have been barricaded since their series of blunders were revealed Friday, asking that questions to chairman Chip Forrester be submitted in writing before determining whether to respond.

But I did laugh.

 

Sunday Morning Staying Up

The new ceiling looks great. If ever you want to know how bad your old ceilings look, just comparing them to a new one is a great way. The Butcher is going to paint the upper parts of the walls today, I hope. And then I can get in there to clean.

I think we’ve both just hit this mental block, where it’s like there’s still so much to do, but who can bring one’s self to do it? I just really needed to hit the “I’m done” portion of the household disaster closer to actually being done. Ha ha ha.

So, the room is not back together. It probably won’t be today. But I really want to get back to work tomorrow. I need a schedule and a routine that doesn’t have anything to do with the house.
