I wrote this post. Matthew Muenzen took to Twitter to call me ignorant and assure me that “Anyway, it doesn’t affect the safety of children.” Today in the Tennessean, DCS admits that 31 kids they had eyes on died this year and that they’ve been breaking the law by not telling legislators about it.
I wonder if folks are still eager to argue that DCS doesn’t need some major reform.
DCS in TN has been in need of reform since at least 1943.
