There are a long list of reasons I dislike my sister-in-law. There used to be just one reason I loathed her–she threatened to kill my dog.
Yesterday, I caught her logged in as my nephew on Facebook saying shitty things about my brother’s new girlfriend to my brother. I would add to the long list of reasons I dislike her if it had just been her on my brother’s Facebook page saying shitty things about my brother’s new girlfriend (except she can’t because my brother has her blocked).
But that she would take over my nephew’s account–my nephew who is a child with a long internet future ahead of him–to say shitty things about a woman he’s going to have to have some kind of relationship with is the second-shittiest thing she’s ever done. Frankly. Impersonating her son so that she can be mean to a woman she’s never even met and thus leaving my nephew–who is not even a teenager–to bear the weight of that being people’s impression of him?
I have no words for how disgusting that is.
I used to think that she must have some good in her because my nephew adores her, but the fact that she’d do this to a child who adores her pretty clearly shows that she’s just a terrible person. And my heart breaks for him to know that he’s going to have to come to realize that.
