The Washington Post is talking about Michelle Obama taking on a heckler at a fundraiser.
Sturtz was escorted out of the room. She said in an interview later she was stunned by Obama’s response.
“She came right down in my face,” Sturtz said. “I was taken aback.”
Yes, people, the HECKLER was taken aback. Because, apparently, when you’re being rude as hell, you’re due propriety. Holy shit.

I think the reason this mashes all my buttons is that this is some church-goer shit right here. Get the minister’s wife in front of a crowd, dress her down about stuff you don’t like about her husband, and assume that her job is to just smile and politely take it, lest she make her husband look bad.
It is my dream that just once my mom would have done something like Michelle Obama did. Though I’m sure it would have been met with the same shock that, once you yell at someone, she might want to yell back.
